    HIM is a Christian ministry, created to act as a coordinated extension for local churches to work with DSS, utility companies, pharmacies, and landlords by providing assistance to residents in Darlington County, facing a crisis situation. An Emergency Food Pantry is available on site, which serves all of Darlington County.

  • DCCAA Head Start

    Designed to improve the educational, emotional, social, and physical well-being of families and children ages birth to five. The health and nutrition aspects of the program have improved the prevention, detection, and treatment of children's medical, dental, and nutritional needs. A needs assessment determines families' health, educational, nutrition, and social needs.

  • Darlington County Council on Aging

    The only meal program in the county, provides one (1) nutritious meal per day, five (5) days a week to the elderly of Hartsville. Provides transportation needed and home service.

  • All for Christ Ministries

    Provides Food Boxes for seniors on the fourth Thursday and for community members on the fourth Saturday of each month. You must apply!

    You must complete an application by phone at least one week prior to receiving your first food box. Call to apply.

  • Hartsville Soup Kitchen Ministry at Wesley United Methodist

    Hot meals are served every Monday through Friday, 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., including holidays. The Soup Kitchen Mission is truly a Hartsville mission, as many churches, clubs and organizations assist with cooking and serving meals.
