Our Programs
-
Sweet Dreams
A good night's sleep has a huge impact on a child's ability to learn at school. There are too many children in our community who don't have a bed to sleep in. We are changing that.
Since October of 2017 we have provided more than 1430 beds to children, seniors and disaster victims.
-
Coats4Kids
Children should feel safe and warm when the colder months arrive. We provide new and gently used coats, hats, and gloves to those without.
Since 2014 we have provided more than 3800 coats to children, seniors and disaster victims.
-
Middle & High School Filled Backpacks
Every child deserves to start the school year with all the supplies they'll need to be successful. We provide heavy-duty, filled backpacks to middle and high school students in our community.
Since 2016, we have provided more than 1460 filled backpacks to students.
-
Disaster Assistance
Helping victims who’ve lost everything due to house fires, natural disasters, and other types of disasters get back on their feet. We provide clothing, furniture, household items, cleaning supplies, and hygiene products.
-
Infant & Child Assistance
Providing clothing & coats for babies and school age children, baby formula, diapers, wipes, books and stuffed animals (when available and based on circumstance).
-
Emergency Grocery Cards
Grocery Cards can be provided when a family is in emergency need, due to unexpected circumstances.
Often times this program is used in conjunction with the Disaster Assistance program.
-
Medical Gas Cards & Equipment
We offer gently used medical equipment (when we receive these donated items) to those who are disabled or have another medical need and are unable to get the equipment on their own. This includes but is not limited to: Power Scooters, Wheel Chairs, Walkers, and Hospital Beds.
We provide gas cards for individuals who do not have the means or the funds to get to Cancer Treatment appointments.
-
Make Christmas Merry
This is a FREE Christmas “Shopping” event which we hold each year in our office. This event is by invitation only and is reserved for recent disaster victims who are working and trying to recover.
Parents (no children are allowed to be present) are scheduled to come to our office, where they choose 6 primary gifts for their child, along with several “stocking stuffers” and pajamas. All gifts come with the strict request that they are saved for Christmas.
We believe every child deserves a magical Christmas morning.
-
"Dear Santa"
This program allows school-aged children to request a gift, which often ends up being an item that most of us consider an everyday luxury, such as heat in their home, a bed, food at home, glasses for a family member, new shoes, or a warm coat.
-
Home Repair Program
This new program provides roof repairs & replacements for qualified Seniors, Disabled, and Veterans who are struggling and have a failing roof. We hope to expand this program in the future.
-
Senior & Veteran Assistance
Connecting our Seniors and Veterans with programs that will provide them the assistance they are most in need of, such as food services, housing, utility assistance, and much more
Seasonally, we run our Heaters & ACs for Seniors program.
We provide PPE, cleaning, and hygiene products as deemed necessary.
-
Homeless Assistance
When available, we offer warm coats, hats, and gloves as well as gently used sleeping bags to our community members experiencing homelessness.
We also provide hygiene kits that include a toothbrush and toothpaste, soap, shampoo, washcloth, and deodorant (as available).
