Joann DeLong
Executive Director
I’ve been the Executive Director of the United Way of Greater Hartsville for 12 years. It is very rewarding to help those in our community who could use a hand up, not a handout. I truly enjoy working with the many organizations that improve the lives of our citizens.
I’ve lived in Hartsville for 12 years, and when I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, Greg, and my family. I also enjoy sewing, crafting, and camping.
Nicole Brown
Assistant to Executive Director
As Assistant to the Executive Director, I work directly with the communities of Darlington County as a conduit between caring donors and citizens in need. My responsibilities, from scheduling drop-offs and pick-ups to assisting walk-ins and answering calls, help streamline daily operations.
When I’m not at work, I’m usually reading one of several books on my nightstand, having an emotive conversation about food, or causing one of my three newly-adult children to cringe.
Stephanie Soto-Cruz
Marketing Director
I work in a primarily remote role and have worked for the United Way of Greater Hartsville for two years. I am responsible for social media communications as well as website updates, and I create the marketing and campaign visuals.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending time with my husband and my two boys. We enjoy camping and being outdoors, and I also love to paint and be creative.
